Scholarships

Price Charities funds college and university scholarships for students at Hoover High School as well as students who are Aaron Price Fellows.

The Effron Scholarship ProgramThe Effron Scholarship Program at Hoover High School was established in memory of Helen and Sol Price's nephew Stephen Effron who had attended Hoover High School. Scholarship applicants are eligible for either a $20,000 scholarship to a four year college or university funded at $4,000 per year for five years or $2,000 for a two year scholarship to a community college, trade or vocational school.

Jesus Morales ScholarshipsThe Jesus Morales Memorial Scholarship Program at Hoover High School provides scholarships to Hispanic students for either four year universities or community colleges.

Aaron Price Fellows ScholarshipsAaron Price Fellows Scholarships are awarded to Aaron Price Fellows based on community service performed during their senior year of high school. Scholarships may be applied to either a four year college or university or to a community college.
