SURVIVORS has a unique, multi-disciplinary treatment approach which empowers torture survivors and their families to reclaim their lives and heal. Services include screenings, intakes, psychological and psychiatric assessments, referrals, as well as mental health, language, legal and medical services. In addition, we conduct trainings for medical and mental health care professionals, attorneys, educators, clergy, local and regional government officials and other community members about politically-motivated torture and its effects.
